This is your opportunity to make a multi-generational impact on a family in Mexico and experience the opportunity to build a home for a family in a weekend that will also profoundly impact your life!*
This event is in conjunction with bajabound.org, a charity group that builds hundreds of homes for needy families in Mexico, with the help of labor and funds from groups like ours. The event starts early on Saturday, May 23, 2026. We’ll caravan across the border to a meeting place in Ensenada. From there, we’ll go to the build site. Both Saturday and Sunday we’ll work for about 8 hours each day, building the home. Many times the family we’re helping will also be there to help and interact with us. Representatives from the charity will be there to project manage and help us build the home properly. No construction experience necessary! In the evenings, we’ll have time to enjoy the beach near our accommodation, eat dinner and reflect on the great work we are doing! The final day will be Monday, May 25, 2026 (Memorial Day). We’ll put in a couple hours of work for the finishing touches, do a small blessing for the home and the family and end with handing the keys over to the family.

*Pay to Play: $1,000+ donation to the charity includes all the materials to build a home for a needy family and accommodations for 2 nights at a beach-adjacent property in Ensenada. This fee covers one adult and one kid. Additional children are $175 extra for the weekend.Cancellation Fee?: Must cancel 30 days prior to event date or no refund.
