Exit Confidential with Byron McFarland

25 March 2026 04:00 PM (GMT-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada)
Venue: Champions Run
Location: Omaha, Nebraska, United States

EXIT CONFIDENTIAL is a private, in-person evening keynote exclusively for Entrepreneurs’ Organization members who want a realistic look at what it truly means to exit a business.

Hosted by Byron McFarland, this confidential session features a panel of EO entrepreneurs who have successfully sold their companies. In an off-the-record setting, panelists share their personal exit stories—openly discussing what worked, what didn’t, and what they wish they had done differently.

This is not a presentation and not a sales pitch. It’s an honest peer-to-peer conversation designed to surface the realities of exiting, including unexpected challenges, emotional decisions, timing considerations, and post-exit reflections. There are no recordings, ensuring a safe and trusted environment for candid dialogue.

EXIT CONFIDENTIAL is valuable whether you’re actively thinking about an exit or simply want to understand how today’s decisions can impact your future. Hearing directly from fellow EO members provides clarity, perspective, and insight that can’t be found in books or podcasts.

Attendees leave with a broader understanding of exit outcomes, lessons learned from real experiences, and a clearer view of what their own future could look like.

EO members only. Owners and founders. Confidential by design.

Exit Confidential Panel will be Chris Mangan, Nikki Osborn, Ryan Jardine, and John Lund

Freedom by Design with Byron McFarland

26 March 2026 12:30 PM (GMT-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada)
Venue: The Relevant Center
Location: Elkhorn, Nebraska, United States

Freedom by Design is a hands-on, half-day workshop designed for business owners and partners who want to understand the value they’ve built—and how to realize it with clarity and confidence.

Every owner will one day leave their business, but not all owners capture its full value. This workshop helps participants explore three distinct paths to realizing value: selling the business, transitioning ownership, or continuing to invest while stepping back. Rather than focusing only on an exit, Freedom by Design reframes the conversation around freedom—financial, operational, and personal.

Led by Byron McFarland, the workshop combines storytelling, proven frameworks, and facilitated discussion with practical exercises. Participants assess their current readiness, identify areas of owner dependence, and evaluate how leadership, systems, and structure impact long-term value.

Using a guided workbook, owners gain clarity on which path best aligns with their goals, timeline, and team. The session is designed to be immediately actionable—helping owners increase sustainability, strengthen transferability, and improve buyer appeal while creating more flexibility for themselves.

Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of their options, renewed confidence in the future of their business, and a customized 90-day action plan outlining concrete next steps.

Whether your future includes selling, sharing ownership, or stepping back while remaining invested, Freedom by Design helps you move forward with purpose—and design the next phase of your success.
