Jason Bush joins HS Whitson Construction Co
H-S Whitson Construction Co., Inc. welcomed Jason Bush to
their team.
Jason holds a B.S. degree from the University of Tennessee
in Business Management. He has project management experience in construction
and building restoration projects. With
this role he was responsible for construction from the inception phase,
planning, through the completion and day to day management of the workforce for
those job sites. As well as the
coordination of all required construction materials. In addition, Jason also brings with him the
ability to manage assets, logistics, material, and inventory management as
evidenced by him serving his country in the United States Marine Corps. While in the Corp, serving in Operation Iraqi
Freedom he was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal and the Iraqi Campaign Medal. While serving in Iraq, he managed $215,000,000
of armaments.
In his present role, in estimating and acting as a Project
Manager Assistant. Mr. Bush will be
involved with day to day estimating, change orders, shop drawings, and
submittals as well as assisting the company’s senior project manager in all
aspects of the day to day construction needs.
Personal:
Mr. Bush and his wife Catie have two children. Outside of
work, they enjoy the outdoors, boating as well trips to the Smoky
Mountains. Jason participates with Club
Blue in fundraising for the Boys and Girls Club, sat on the board for the
Rhythm and Blooms Festival. He is a
founding member of Knox Town Hall focused on making Knoxville a better
community whether its putting in greenways, putting up street lighting or
raising awareness for positive happenings and events. Jason previously participated in the Covenant
Health Half-Marathon and assisted in coaching his son’s baseball and wrestling
teams.
