Why Peer Support Matters More Than Ever, Columbus Entrepreneurs Unite for EO Momentum 2025 Featuring Alex Sheen

COLUMBUS, OH – October 10, 2025 – In Ohio, the entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well, but sustaining it is no small feat. Between March 2022 and March 2023, more than 29,000 new businesses opened statewide, while nearly 27,000 closed, according to the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Advocacy.

That narrow margin of success is a reminder that starting a business is only the beginning, and that strong networks, mentorship, and peer support can make all the difference between scaling up and shutting down.

On November 4, 2025, Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Columbus will host Momentum 2025 at The Fives, bringing together Central Ohio business owners for an afternoon of connection, reflection, and inspiration. The event’s featured speaker, Alex Sheen, is a five-time TEDx presenter and founder of the global nonprofit because I said I would, known for his work on accountability and integrity in leadership.
