October 28, 2015 - TULSA – Oklahoma entrepreneurs have outperformed global results, according to the Entrepreneurs’ Organization’s Global Entrepreneur Indicator survey released Wednesday.

The Global Entrepreneurs Indicator examines the economic market and business performance for entrepreneurs.

The survey shows more Oklahoma entrepreneurial businesses have increased net profits and access to capital than the global average.

Findings show that 68.2 percent of Oklahoma firms have increased net profits, compared with the global average of 61.5 percent. The survey also found that 36.4 percent of Oklahoma respondents indicated increased access to capital, slightly outpacing the global results of 35.6 percent. EO Oklahoma members are confident of continued positive results, said EO Oklahoma President Matthew Bristow. “While Oklahoma may be known for its leading role in the energy business, we also have a vibrant community of successful entrepreneurs with businesses ranging from wireless communications and media to information technology services and software,” Bristow said.
