Global Entrepreneurship Week Planned for Qatar

04 July 2012 – Qatar will join over 100 other countries in participating in Global Entrepreneurship Week, a worldwide initiative that celebrates the innovators and job creators who launch startup businesses and drive economic growth. This will be the first year in which Qatar has had a formal Global Entrepreneurship Week campaign.

First held in 2007, Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is led by the Kauffman Foundation, a nonprofit organization that works to promote job creation, innovation and economic advancement through entrepreneurship. In 2012, Global Entrepreneurship Week will be held November 12-18.
