EO Turkey has 44 members now

EO Turkey family continues to grow. The chapters’ latest members are Sibel Engin and Gurkan Karagoz.

Sibel Engin, Vasteco S.A., Director

Sibel Engin, public relations professional and co-founder of Vasteco S.A. was born in Istanbul. After graduating from Istanbul University’s Business Management department, she had worked in various international brands as public relations and communications consultant for more than 10 years. After moving to Paris, she actively took part in the process of Genova based Brandsens Brand Management Company’s entry to Turkish market between 2006 and 2008. In 2008, she founded Vasteco S.A. with her partner, to import ready-to-wear textiles from Turkey and sell at their own stores in Switzerland. She is also the exclusive distributor of Divan group. In 2013, she started another business in Miami in aviation sector and she is still responsible for PR operations of this company. Engin speaks English and French fluently, and she is married with two kids.

Gurkan Karagoz, Digiform, Capturefast

Born in 1970 in Afyonkarahisar, Gurkan Karagoz studied at Turkish Military Academy and Middle East Technical University. He is a computer vision expert, and the founder of Digiform and Capturefast. He develops hardware and software technologies which digitalize analog data in high efficiency. He is recognized as one of the prominent experts in document capture fields and he continues to expand his companies’ operations abroad with the investment he received from Revo Capital. Karagöz is married and has a son.
