EO Set to Launch 15th Canadian Chapter in Niagara
Alexandria, Virginia, USA (14 March 2019) – Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), the world’s leading peer-to-peer network of successful business owners, is stepping up its presence in Canada this year, with the launch of a new chapter in Niagara. EO currently has over 1000 members across 14 chapters in the Canadian region and continues to drive its mission to engage leading entrepreneurs to learn and grow.
The upcoming launch was announced at the 25th Niagara Entrepreneur of the Year Awards (NEYA) held recently, celebrating the region’s most accomplished entrepreneurs and the impact of entrepreneurship across the region. Since 1994, NEYA has recognized over 1,100 nominees and has presented awards to 360 of Niagara’s most accomplished entrepreneurs.
Former EO Global Chair, Brian Brault addressed over 600 of Niagara’s business leaders and their guests at the event. Speaking enthusiastically about the upcoming launch, he said, “I can’t imagine a more professional,
well run event to announce the launching of EO Niagara than NEYA’s
25th anniversary gala. The entrepreneurial energy found in that room was a perfect match for the transformative impact EO will bring to the region and Chris Robertson is the ideal champion to lead the launch of the EO Niagara chapter.”
Christine Robertson, Founder
and Chair of NEYA and the champion of the EO Niagara chapter said, “Helping advance entrepreneurship in Niagara is one of NEYA’s main objectives and we believe EO will be a valuable resource for business owners in the region. Access to learning, networking
and leadership-development are just some of the benefits EO provides its members and I am excited about the opportunities a local chapter will bring to our community.”
Speaking about plans for the new chapter, she further added, “To give entrepreneurs a feel of the EO experience, we are kicking off with two learning events featuring talks by EO members. On March 27, Govindh Jayaraman delivers a talk on ‘The path to uncommon results’ and on April 8, we host Ron Lovett as he presents on ‘Outrageous disruption’.”
As the global thought leader on entrepreneurship, EO plays an integral role in businesses, industries and the lives of leading entrepreneurs everywhere. Entrepreneurs must be founders, co-founders or controlling shareholders of a company to be eligible for membership. To know more about EO Niagara or to register for its upcoming events, write to
