State entrepreneurs expect higher revenue

November 25, 2013 - OKLAHOMA CITY – A survey by the Entrepreneurs’ Organization indicate that 81 percent of Oklahoma entrepreneurs expect revenue to increase in the coming six months.

The survey also found that 65 percent of Oklahoma entrepreneurs reported higher revenue in the past six months.

Entrepreneurs surveyed also said the economy is moving in a positive direction, with 88 percent reporting positive feelings about starting a new business in the next six months.

The Oklahoma results are similar to global numbers, which indicate that 61 percent of entrepreneurs around the world experienced higher revenues in the past six months and 76 percent of entrepreneurs are optimistic about revenue in the next six months.

The survey included 44 Oklahoma companies with at least $1 million in annual revenue.

“The results from the survey underscore that Oklahoma businesses are thriving, enhancing the current economic climate,” said EO Oklahoma Chapter President Gabe Bass. “We expect Oklahoma businesses to continue growing, and we expect the market to rebound in a positive way.”

The Entrepreneurs’ Organization is a network of more than 8,000 business owners in 40 countries.
