Nashville, Tennessee (29 March 2012) – Officials with the Nashville chapter of Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) announced recently that one of its members, Michael Burcham, was named a “Champion of Change” by the White House as part of an initiative called “Winning the Future.”

Burcham, president and CEO of Entrepreneur Center, was honored at the White House March 7 for his work in entrepreneur mentoring.

“I've had the opportunity to live out the American Dream,” he wrote in an essay for the event. “As a mentor who trains armies of the next generation of mentors, equipping individuals to realize the American Dream has become an integral chapter of my life's work.”

Burcham founded Entrepreneur Center, which offers mentoring for entrepreneurs and investors.

He is also an active member of EO Nashville where successful entrepreneurs use monthly forums to discuss the common challenges of launching and maintaining a business.

“Michael demonstrates the true entrepreneurial spirit by sharing his experiences with others to promote stronger businesses,” said Debbie Gordon, president of EO Nashville and founder of S3 Asset Management and Snappy Auctions. “Congratulations to him on this great honor.”
