Pumping Up the Retail Industry

Elumni Michael Zhang's company, Blue Hawaii Surf, LLC, was recently selected as one of three finalists for the Ho-okela Award, an honor bestowed to the top retail stores of the year by The Retail Merchants of Hawaii.

Michael was recognized for his outstanding efforts in contributing to the success and vitality of Hawaii's retail industry. This honor marks the second time Blue Hawaii Surf was listed as a finalist for the awards. In addition to the accolade, a profile of Michael's company was published in Best of Island 2009, a publication supporting the nominees and regional retail industry.
