An EO/CNBC Segment: New Chapter Survey Highlights Hiring Trend

In a recent CNBC segment titled “Atlanta Entrepreneurs on a Hiring Binge,” EO Atlanta Chapter President Dave McMullen and EO Atlanta member Shashi Reddy discussed how local entrepreneurs are striving and adjusting to the turbulent economy. During this program, Shashi talked about how his business is trying to grab market share while the competition is hunkering down, and Dave touched on a new EO Atlanta survey. The survey cites that 52 percent of EO Atlanta’s membership added employees in the first half of 2009, 77 percent expect to hire in the second half of 2009 and 93 percent of the members aren’t trying to sell their companies.
