EO St. Petersburg Member Wins Entrepreneur of Year Award

EO St. Petersburg member and president of VELLE Sergey Vykhodtsev was recently awarded Ernst & Young's "Entrepreneur of the Year" award for his outstanding ability to turn an unusual idea into a successful project. In 2004, Sergey established the company VELLE, which is engaged in the development, production and promotion of a special bio-oats product based on the Karelian recipe. Currently, the company has patents for the production of bio-oats products and several trademarks in fourteen European countries. VELLE has offices in Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia, and Amsterdam, Netherlands. The plans of the winner’s team include the construction of a new bio-oats plant, which will substantially increase VELLE production.
