Tech Startup Space a Virgin Territory for Women

27 December 2013 – Women may have stormed many a male bastion and even taken on their male counterparts in the IT sector, but they have failed to make inroads into the booming tech startup space in the city.
"In my last three years of association with The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), Hyderabad, I have not come across a single woman walking up to me and saying 'I have an idea'. Even we are trying to figure out what the issue is," TiE Hyderabad president Murali Bukkapatnam says.
