More than two-thirds of Austin-area entrepreneurs expect to hire more full-time workers in the next six months, according to a recent survey conducted by The Entrepreneurs’ Organization.

Those surveyed are optimistic about the future, with 90 percent predicting that their revenue will increase in the next six months and 77 percent saying they would start a new business in the current economy.

“The results from the survey underscores that Austin businesses are thriving despite the tenuous nature of the national economy,” said Tanner Shepard, communciations chairman for EO Austin www.eoaustin.com, the local chapter of the global organization.
